On Tuesday 5th of March Yeats College held a fundraising event organised by Cathriona O’ Flaherty, parent of a 6th year student to raise funds for Down Syndrome Galway. Students were treated to delicious pancakes in exchange for a small donation. The evening was a huge success and a well deserved break from studies. All the money raised was donated to Down Syndrome, Galway who are dedicated to being the primary source of information and support to people with Down syndrome, their families and the professional community, working towards an improved quality of life for our members along with a respect and acceptance of people with Down syndrome as valued members of society.
