Congratulations to Leaving Cert Students

We had a fantastic day today celebrating the phenomenal Leaving Certificate results of the Yeats College class of 2024. Students were ecstatic as they received their long-awaited exam results, and the atmosphere at the school was jubilant.

Results this year were amazing, with eight students achieving the maximum score of 625 points. Ardrahan student Sharon Dolphin achieved an outstanding 7 H1s and is now looking forward to studying Biomedical Science at University of Galway. This year, 57% of students achieved 500 points or higher. A magnificent 16% scored over 600 points, an amazing achievement.

One delighted student was Anoushka Gowda from Knocknacarra, scoring the maximum 625 points. She now intends to study Medicine at University of Galway. Her older sister Adithi celebrated with her today. Adithi attended Yeats College in 2019 and now works as a doctor at the Mater Hospital in Dublin. Oranmore student Sebastian Zudie was also overjoyed with his results, having also achieved 625 points. Sebastian completed the two-year programme at Yeats College and thanked the staff for helping him to achieve a place on his first choice CAO course, Computer Science at UCD.

Sebastian Zudie, 625 points
Manchester native Michael Nolan, who moved to Galway last year to complete the Leaving Certificate course in one year at Yeats College Galway, achieved 618 points. Michael now hopes to study Engineering Management at Trinity College, Dublin
